We have been coming to the OBX for many, many years. We always make the trip to Okracoke for this ice cream and the village and beaches. The ice cream used to be Maola and we were a bit nervous when Maola stopped making ice cream. What ever the replacement brand is, it it still exceptional. Melting as soon as they hand it to you out of the window. Great service and flavors.

the ocracoke pothole i guess its the name lol its a chocolate with chocolate fudge and chocolate pieces milkshake and it is worth it every penny! i swear! the ice cream sandwich was really good too, we have bought the oatmeal raisin cookie with the blueberry ice cream and helllllll yessss

We were greeted by a friendly employee who helped us with our selections. The Chocolate Chip Mint and Chocolate milkshakes were delicious according to my wife and son. I enjoyed creamy Butter Pecan Ice cream on a waffle cone. Delicious.

The Ocracoke Fudge & Ice Cream Shop was such a fun stop! The ice cream was delicious the peach flavor was my absolute favorite, so creamy and refreshing. The fudge looked amazing too, with tons of choices.

This little shop will always have a piece of my heart in Ocracoke. It was actually one of the first places I ever worked during the summers, and even long after I stopped working here, it’s still my go-to stop every time I’m back on the island. The ice cream and fudge are always delicious (I especially love their sundaes and Northeasters), and the staff is as friendly as ever. It’s the kind of spot that feels like home, and the consistency over the years makes it even more special. A must-visit when you’re in Ocracoke!
